Situated close to the top of Cleeve Hill, the highest point in the Cotswolds, the Rising Sun commands exceptional views across Cheltenham to the Malvern Hills. During your stay you can easily reach the quaint little villages of the Cotswolds, filled with historic buildings and magnificent gardens; or visit the historic elegant spa town of Cheltenham with its fabulous shops, cafès, attractions and international events.
However you choose to spend your break at The Rising Sun, one pleasure you can be guaranteed is the inviting atmosphere, mouth-watering food, cosy rooms and unique relaxed style of hospitality, which makes it a favourite with locals, ramblers and visitors alike.

Due to its location, the hotel is split level and has a number of stairs.
There are 18 attractively furnished en suite double/twin bedrooms, most of which have spectacular views across the Severn Vale. They have been traditionally furnished and all have full facilities.

The restaurant, bar and heated garden terrace all offer a seasonal menu, with a wide selection of modern and traditional British favourites, from hearty main courses to lighter snacks, complemented by a selection of real ales, carefully selected wines, speciality teas and coffees.
For parties of 50 people or more The Rising Sun Hotel is happy to offer exclusive use of the restaurant. The chef can prepare dining choices covering options from a stand-up buffet to a grand banquet to suit your needs and budget.

- Take the M5.
- Exit at junction 10 (from the north) or junction 11 (from the south).
- Follow signs through Cheltenham to Prestbury.
- Take the B4632 towards Winchcombe and you will find the hotel on the right, approximately 2 miles from the village of Prestbury.
